The Words That Make Everyone Pause… "I Have Something to Tell You"
Come, come sit with me…
Grab yourself a drink and pull up a chair.
Listen…
You know that moment when you’ve been doing something quietly…
and you’re finally ready to tell someone?
And then you say those magical words…
“I have something to tell you…”
…and you just sit there and watch their face change π
Because in that moment?
You already know…
π they are thinking a million things all at once.
So…
I finally told someone something I’ve been working on quietly…
…but first, I had to say,
“I’m not doing anything illegal.” π
And let me tell you…
the thoughts that must run through someone’s mind in that moment are priceless.
π 1. “Wait… is this good or bad?”
You can see it instantly. Everything gets serious.
π³ 2. “Did something happen??”
Their brain goes straight to worst-case before you even say another word.
π€ 3. “Why is she smiling like that…”
Now they’re confused. You look calm… but they’re not convinced.
π 4. “Is she about to drop a bomb right now?”
Meanwhile, you’re just sitting there like π
π€¨ 5. “Should I sit down for this?”
Suddenly, this feels like a life announcement.
π 6. “Okay… just tell me already!”
They can’t take the suspense anymore.
And then…
you tell them.
And the beauty of that moment?
This person gave me total acceptance.
No judgment.
No hesitation.
Just… listened.
And I’ll be honest…
I was so nervous to say it out loud.
But sometimes…
the things we build quietly,
the things we hold close,
the things we’re unsure how people will receive…
end up being the very things that connect us.
Because behind the surprise…
behind the questions…
behind the overthinking…
are real moments.
Real conversations.
And sometimes…
a little laughter we didn’t expect π
✨ Whisper:
Sometimes the scariest words to say become the moments we smile about the most.
If you’ve ever had one of those moments… you know exactly what I mean π
