The Quiet Moments That Give Me Strength πΉ
Come come sit with me… grab your drink and pull up a chair.
Lately… I’ve been getting up a little earlier.
Not because I have to…
but because I want to.
I put my earbuds in… hit play…
and for that moment?
π it’s just me.
No noise.
No expectations.
Just music… and movement.
I’ve realized something…
π I find it freeing to exercise.
Not the kind where you’re pushing yourself to the limit…
but the kind where you’re just moving… breathing… being.
And as I move… I start to say a few affirmations—
the kind that feed my soul.
Nothing complicated…
just words that remind me who I am and how I want to feel.
These little things?
They get your body moving… your energy shifting…
And listen… not all of us like to exercise in the morning. π
But whatever you choose to do—
π do it for yourself.
Do it to get that energy flowing within your body.
Now the music… oh, let’s talk about the music.
Some days?
π I need the beat fast… something that makes me move quicker.
Other days?
π I lean into a slower rhythm… something that just lets me breathe.
And then there are the quiet mornings…
When I put on gospel.
And that right there?
π feeds my soul in a whole different way.
Just that little bit extra…
Here’s the thing…
We all need that time to quiet our minds and just breathe.
Because in the chaotic world we live in…
π we need to slow down
π we need to just be… with ourselves
And honestly?
We all need that little bit of peace…
just to keep moving forward.
Whisper: “Sometimes… all it takes is one quiet moment to find the strength to keep going.”
Thanks for sitting with me today πΉ
If this spoke to you, I hope you find one small quiet moment today that belongs only to you.
