Pork Chops, Mushroom Rice, Veggies & Easy Nights 🌹

Come come sit with me… Grab your drink and pull up a chair.

Okay… so this morning I was digging in the freezer, planning to pull out some ground turkey to make chili…
but then I saw the pork chops—and you know I had to grab those too. πŸ˜„

I love me some pork chops… LOL

So here I am getting ready to cook, and one thing about me?
πŸ‘‰ I like my meals done at the same time—and hot.

No waiting around, no one eating while someone else is still cooking… everything comes together.

So I got all my veggies cut up—peppers, onions, mushrooms… nice and ready to go.

And I have to tell you, these are the knives I used for everything tonight—cutting the veggies and even slicing the pork chops in half to get them cooking evenly:

Okay, so then I prepped my pork chops for the air fryer:

I like to season them up and let them sit for about 15 minutes… just so everything really soaks in.

Then into the air fryer they go.

But this time? I had enough to use both sides, so I matched the cooking and dropped the temperature a bit…

And girl… πŸ˜„
πŸ‘‰ they came out juicy

Because we all know… pork chops can dry out real quick if you’re not careful.

Lower temperature made all the difference.

Then I prep the rice.

First thing—I always wash the rice before putting it in the rice cooker:

And instead of using water… I used mushroom broth this time.

Let me tell you… that right there?
πŸ‘‰ game changer

And listen… πŸ˜„
I cannot make rice on the stove.

I would overcook it every single time.

I was using those microwave rice bags for the longest time… until my brother got me this rice cooker…

πŸ‘‰ GAME CHANGER!!

Now I don’t even think about it—it just comes out perfect every time.

So now everything is cooking and almost ready…

And since I’m trying to eat a little healthier, I added my veggies—peppers, onions, mushrooms—and used this frying pan:

I just add a little butter and some garlic powder…

Because let’s be honest—
πŸ‘‰ I love garlic πŸ˜„

And in about 25 minutes?

πŸ‘‰ the whole meal is done and ready to eat.

BOOM.
Fast and easy… just how I like to cook my meals.

“Nothing complicated… just real food that tastes good.”

So that was my easy, non-complicated meal…

And honestly?
πŸ‘‰ the best part… I had leftovers for a couple of days.

Can we say food prep!!! πŸ˜„

Because nothing beats cooking once…
and eating good for a few days.

Thanks for sitting with me today 🌹

Dinner is ready… and I hope this gave you a little inspiration for your own kitchen.
