The Season I’m In

Come, come sit with me. Grab your drink and pull up a chair.
Seasons.
That word can mean so many things.
The changing of the weather — and please, GOD, let the season of heat start soon because we are tired of the cold. (Yes, I said it.)
But seasons can also mean the one you’re living in right now.
The emotional season.
The growth season.
The stretching season.
The rebuilding season.
I know you’re probably thinking, “What is this girl talking about?”
I’m talking about the season I’m in.
It’s the season of freeing.
The season of freeing for me is doing things I would have never imagined myself doing in a million years.
Creating.
Me.
Creating things.
I’ve always been a numbers girl.
Spreadsheets.
Budgets.
Tracking.
Analytics.
I love my numbers.
They make sense.
They behave.
They add up.
I never saw myself as creative.
That wasn’t the box I put myself in.
But here I am.
Writing.
Designing.
Recording.
Building something out of words and color and thought.
And let me be clear.
At first?
It was scary.
Uncomfortable.
Unfamiliar.
There were moments I wanted to retreat back to what felt safe.
But growth rarely feels comfortable.
In order to grow, sometimes we have to sit in the stretch.
In the uncertainty.
In the “who am I becoming?” space.
My season of freeing is interesting in the way that I’ve discovered another side of myself — a side I now embrace.
Who knew that being open could unlock this?
This kind of expansion.
This kind of courage.
This kind of creativity.
So let me ask you something.
What season are you in right now?
Are you embracing it…
or fighting it?
Because the season you’re resisting might be the one that’s trying to set you free.
✨ Whisper: The season that feels unfamiliar may be the one that frees you.

Change can feel overwhelming, but it’s also where growth lives. One step at a time is still progress—just keep going.
