✨ I Think I Need a Minute

Come, come sit with me, grab yourself a drink and pull up a chair... Okay, real talk here... I am so out of sync right now, it isn't even funny. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Y'all, my year has been moving soooo fast, putting one leg out to slow it down has NOT been working. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Let me start with work. I enjoy my job, but let me tell you, it has gotten even more interesting when you throw in travel... The stories I have about the airport... making sure you have everything you need to travel with, going through security, then you get the rental car and you just never know what you are going to get. ๐Ÿ˜‚ And I haven't even started doing my job yet. Okay, you got your first week of travel done and you're on your way back home... HOME. Mmmm... but when you get there, you want to meet up with friends and family because you've been gone. You need to do laundry, and then you need to get ready for your week... This. THIS has been me for the last five months. So I am sitting here today telling...

Spring, Weddings… and the Truth About Love ๐ŸŒน

Come, come sit with me. Grab yourself a drink and pull up a chair.

Spring is in the air…
which means things are budding and getting ready to be brought to life.

Just like wedding season…

WOO HOO ๐Ÿ˜„

And you know I love me some wedding vibes…

New love,
old love,
and that quick love that somehow turns into forever… ๐Ÿ˜„

There’s just something about this time of year.

You can feel it.

That excitement…

The kind that comes when you’re just starting to plan…
or when everything is finally coming together and you’re thinking,
“thank God it’s almost here.” ๐Ÿ˜„

But even with all that excitement…

there’s something deeper.

There’s love.

And for me…

love is everything.

Love shows up in different ways…

And when it’s real,
it’s always there.

I heard a story once about a couple who dated as teenagers…

but life happened,
and they went their separate ways.

They lost contact…

and that was it.

Until… 45 years later ๐Ÿ˜„

They found each other again…

and ended up getting married.

Now tell me that’s not something.

So here’s the thing…

As much as I love weddings…

it’s the love that draws me in.

It’s the reason I read romance books.

Because I know there will always be a HEA—a happily ever after.

But real life?

Real love can be messy.

It doesn’t always follow a perfect path.
It doesn’t always look the way we imagined.

And still…

as long as we get to the finish line…

it’s worth it.

So really, at the end of it all…

we all have our own version of love.

And let me tell you…

no two love stories are ever the same.

And that, my friend…

is the beauty of a love story.

Because even though they’re different…

they all matter.

Whisper:
Love doesn’t have to look perfect to be real… it just has to be true.
